1. Information we process
When the extension is first used, we create a random guest identifier and store a signed recovery credential in a secure cookie to calculate and restore the one-hour guest trial. When you register, we process your email, account identifier, and required session data. Registered accounts receive a 7-day trial. If you purchase a lifetime license, we also store customer, transaction, and license identifiers returned by Paddle.
2. AI conversation content
ConvoFinder stores chat indexes, keywords, and knowledge bases locally in your browser by default. Signing in does not automatically upload complete chat content.
3. How information is used
Account information is used only for authentication, support, license management, service security, and essential product notices. We do not sell personal information.
4. Third-party services
The website uses Neon for identity and data, Vercel for hosting, and Paddle for one-time payment processing. Each provider processes required data under its own privacy policy.
5. Security and retention
Passwords are securely hashed by the authentication provider, and ConvoFinder never reads plaintext passwords. Guest trial credentials are signed, and expired guest records are automatically deleted from the server. A recovery credential remains temporarily in the browser to prevent a trial from restarting after reinstalling the extension. Registered account data is retained while needed to provide the service.
